I received a call from a consumer who had received a demand letter with draft claim attached. She knew that she owed the money but had just recently returned to work and had a number of bills outstanding. She required some time to repay the account if possible. I spoke with my client and was able to negotiate acceptable terms of repayment for her and for the client/creditor. She was relieved and expressed her gratitude for our help.
